About
We exist for one narrow job: helping finance teams understand the exceptions hiding in their receivables before those exceptions distort the close.
Origin
Cloudx Logic began when two former commercial finance managers in Hong Kong grew tired of month-end packs that papered over unexplained AR balances. Controllers were signing off while disputed invoices and unapplied remittances sat unresolved. The practice was formed to give those teams an independent, time-bound review — not another full audit firm engagement, and not a temporary AR clerk.
We operate from Central Plaza, 18 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, close to the finance offices we visit most often in Wan Chai, Admiralty, and Central.
What we bring
Our reviewers have spent years inside AR ledgers: aging extracts, remittance advice, credit-note registers, and the awkward conversations with sales when invoices do not match what the customer believes they owe. That operational familiarity shapes how we write findings — concrete, referenced, and usable by the people who post the next journal.
How we work with clients
- Materiality first. We agree thresholds before opening the extract.
- Findings over theatre. Reports list exceptions with sources; we do not inflate issue counts.
- Your ledger stays yours. We recommend actions; your team posts corrections.
- Hong Kong close calendars. We schedule around local period-end pressure, including compressed quarter ends for regional subsidiaries.
People
Helena Cho — Principal reviewer
Helena spent a decade in commercial finance for trading and logistics groups before focusing exclusively on receivables exception work. She leads scoping calls and signs every findings pack.
Marcus Wei — Field reviewer
Marcus handles large-ledger sampling, remittance matching, and on-site walkthroughs. He previously supervised AR teams handling multi-currency customer bases across Asia.
Values in practice
Independence from the sales pressure that sometimes wants invoices left alone. Clarity about what we did not test. Respect for the AR staff who live with the ledger after we leave.
