Engagement Process
A predictable path from first enquiry to a signed findings pack — designed around Hong Kong close calendars.
Engagements follow the same spine whether you commission a full AR exception review or a shorter pre-close walkthrough. The depth of fieldwork changes; the sequence does not.
- Enquiry & fit check
You describe the ledger problem, open-item volume, and close date via our contact form or phone. We confirm whether the issue sits inside our review types.
- Scoping call
A 30–45 minute call agrees materiality, extract formats, on-site vs remote work, and the delivery week. You receive a written engagement letter and fee.
- Deposit & access
For fees above HK$20,000, a 40% deposit reserves the week. You provide aging extracts, remittance suspense, and credit-note registers under agreed confidentiality terms.
- Fieldwork
Reviewers work the population or sample, raise clarifying questions with your appointed contact, and keep a running exception log. Large ledgers include a mid-point check-in.
- Draft discussion
We walk your AR lead through draft findings before finalising — so factual corrections land before the pack is locked.
- Findings pack & briefing
You receive the PDF pack and a short briefing call for the controller. Balance invoice follows. Optional day-rate follow-up is available for thirty days.
What we need from you
- One responsive internal contact during fieldwork
- Extracts that match the formats listed in the engagement letter
- Honest flags on known disputes (saves sampling time)
What we will not do
Rewrite your close narrative, negotiate with debtors, or post journals. Those remain internal actions.
